Sponsorship, advertising and paid placement
There is no sponsored content, no advertising, no paid placement and no fee for inclusion or for a better position in a ranking. No brand has paid for coverage or for a review of any kind.
Samples and gifted products
We do not accept free samples, gifted products, travel or gifts from brands. Products covered on this site are bought at retail like any other customer.
How rankings are decided
Every position on this site is produced by the published rubric applied to recorded label and price data. No commercial arrangement can move a score or a ranking, because scores are calculated from the structured record rather than written by hand.
Ownership
This site publishes comparisons that include products connected to the site's ownership as well as competing products. The same rubric is applied to every brand, and when a competing product scores higher on a criterion that result is published as it stands. If this ever changes
If affiliate links, advertising or any other commercial relationship is ever introduced, it will be described on this page and marked on the affected pages before that content is published. Questions about a specific relationship can be sent through the contact page.
